Obituary

Bean, Linda Louisa 1947 to 2020 "Remember me in your Hearts, in your thoughts, and in the memories of the times we loved, the times we cried, the battle I fought and the times we laughed. For if you always think of me, I will never have gone." Linda Louisa Bean, (Britzius) age 72, Loving Mother to son Aaron (Angie), daughter Morgan and loving Grandmother to granddaughter Lilly, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 22nd, 2020 after a long, but extremely courageous battle with cancer. She, along with her late husband Jim Bean, were the owners of Bean's Greenwood Marina and former owner of the Green Parrot Bar in Key West. She loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed being out on the water, be it on Lake Minnetonka in her cruiser or on the ocean off the coast of Florida. She was an avid sportswoman who enjoyed tennis, golf and both downhill and cross country skiing. She was an incredible artist, who seemed to be able to bring anything she painted, to life on the canvas. Linda was a culinary artist of sorts as well and enjoyed having gatherings of those she loved, to partake in her various delectable creations. She was a woman of true merit, integrity and compassion, who loved her family, friends and kitties deeply and was loved by countless numbers in return. She had a zest for life and knew the importance of living it to the fullest. No matter what her cancer threw at her, she faced it with great poise and grace and never appeared to lose her positivity. She is now at peace, soaring with the eagles and flying with the angels. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, James Bean; her parents, Charles and Bernice Britzius; sister, Cary Willette and uncles, Bennett and Morris Borgeson. Loving mother to son Aaron Bean and his wife Angie; daughter, Morgan; granddaughter, Lilly, whom she truly cherished; her brothers, Fred (Sue) Britzius, Dale (Paulette) Britzius, Scott Britzius, Glenn (June) Britzius and Allison, who was very special to her; aunt, Dorothy Borgeson; brothers-in-law, Bob (Kathy) Bean, Tom (Jan) Bean and many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Private memorial service to be held at a later date. Donations in her memory preferred to the American Cancer Society. Huber Funeral & Cremation Services Excelsior Chapel 952-474-9595
