Lund, Eunice A., (Rorem) of Hopkins and Excelsior. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, was born on November 4th, 1922 and passed away on February 2, 2018 at the age of 95. She is survived by daughters Barbara (Dan) Lindsey, Mary (Dr. Mark) Brahs and Jeanne (Jerry) Clark, grandchildren, Dr. Matthew (Karen) Braasch, Molly (Dave) Coen, Daniel Lindsey, Sarah (Anthony) Roberts, Jennifer (Zach) House, great grandchildren, Isabelle, Ivy, Austin and Cole, brother Harold Rorem, sister-in-law Evelyn Rorem and many other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by her husband Robert W. Lund, parents Rev. Edward and Anna Rorem, brothers and sisters-in-law Dr. Joseph (Gladys) Rorem, Dr. Edward Rorem, Betty Rorem and sister and brother-in-law Ruth (Rev. Milo) Engelstad. Eunice was born in Madison, MN and grew up in Slater, IA where she graduated from high school. She attended St. Olaf College and the Fairview Hospital School of Nursing graduating as a Registered Nurse and also as a cadet Nurse in 1945. She worked as a stewardess for Northwest Airlines and also enjoyed hospital nursing. Her last job was director of Nursing at Park Nursing and Convalescent Center for 13 years. She and her beloved husband Robert enjoyed 52 years of marriage together. They enjoyed volunteering as a team at church, the Interchurch Community Association Food Shelf and Methodist Hospital. They also both served on Methodist Hospital Auxiliary Boards. Eunice was very involved in bible studies and served as co-leader of the Mount Calvary prayer chain. Funeral service 11 AM Tuesday (2/13) at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 301 County Road 19, Excelsior, with visitation starting at 10 AM. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Mount Calvary Lutheran Church.
